The Pinal County Youth Justice Center (PCYJC) is intended to be a short-term, constructive living environment used to stabilize the offender by restoring victim sensitivity and instilling community accountability. If a child has been detained, it was a decision made in the best interest of the child, for their own safety, or for the community’s safety. The PCYJC is just one component of the Juvenile Court working toward the goal of re-integrating the youth back into their families and communities better equipped to positively meet the challenges of becoming a productive contributing member of their community.
